Harpenden Horticultural Society was founded in 1946 and has over 250 active and enthusiastic members. It provides an opportunity for gardeners to meet and learn from each other and from our programme of topical and interesting speakers and excursions. These help us to meet our objective of promoting all aspects of horticulture and in particular, our funding and support for gardening in local schools. All are welcome, membership is not confined to Harpenden Residents. If you are interested in gardening, food or the environment and want to learn more you are most welcome to join any of our meetings as a visitor.
